History of NBM

In 1985, having spent 5 years working in sales for what was then Rank Xerox, Michael Galvin set up NBM with fellow directors Pat Tierney and Pat O’Regan, selling Xerox equipment initially covering the counties Cork and Kerry.

Over the years as the business developed successfully, Xerox extended the territory to include Limerick and Clare.

Many challenges were experienced during the first 15 years of business including the impact of the recession of the late 80’s and Michael’s founding partners exiting the business.

In the last 3 years Xerox reorganised all of its’ operations into one entity comprising over 300 staff, making them by far the largest company in Ireland providing Document and Management solutions.

As part of these changes the quality of the overall service NBM provides to its customers was greatly enhanced by merging supplies and administration functions into one coherent entity all repatriated back to Ireland.
